Some stories come full circle—and Morgan and Shane’s was one of them.

I’ve known Morgan since 2015. Back then, I coached her at Sinclair volleyball. After she graduated, we ended up coaching together. Bring us to now, I am capturing her engagement session and wedding later this summer! It was such a full-circle moment from the start.

Fun fact: Morgan helped me second shoot weddings when I was just starting photography. She’s seen my journey from the beginning. Now, getting to be part of her journey feels incredibly special.

This spring wasn’t easy. Their engagement session got rained out more than once. Mother Nature had her own plans. But when we finally got the session in, it was so worth the wait.

We met on a beautiful May evening at Cox Arboretum. The light was golden. Flowers were in full bloom. And Morgan and Shane brought nothing but joy.

From the first few minutes, it felt like catching up with old friends. They were relaxed, playful, and completely themselves. So many giggles. So many sweet moments. It made capturing their love so easy.

You can tell how much they enjoy each other’s company. Their connection shines in every frame.

They’re getting married later this summer at Whitetail Lodge. If their engagement session is any hint, their wedding is going to be full of love, laughter, and lots of happy tears—probably from me, too.

It’s always an honor to capture moments like these. But this one hit a little deeper.
