Springtime in Ohio can be a bit of a wild card—but when the weather finally cooperates, it really shows off.

Holly and David’s engagement session had a couple of rain delays (because of course it did—spring!). When we finally landed a sunny evening at Cox Arboretum, it was meant to be. The light was golden, the air was warm, and these two were absolutely glowing.

Holly and David are such a sweet, down-to-earth couple. From the moment we started walking through the gardens, it was clear how natural they are together. Lots of quiet smiles, playful banter, and those little glances that say, “Yep, you’re my person.” It makes my job easy.

They’ll be tying the knot in June at the beautiful UD Chapel, followed by a reception at the Country Club of the North. Classic, elegant, and just their style. I can already picture how stunning they’re going to look on their big day, surrounded by the people they love most.

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is the chance to slow down and connect—just the two of you. No timelines or to-do lists, just some time to soak it all in. And this evening with Holly and David at their engagement session was exactly that.
